The Ad Club’s 3rd Annual Brandathon bridges the gap between the Startup world and Agency world, providing startups with the kind of marketing genius they otherwise would not have access to. This 72-hour competition pairs 12 promising startups with 12 of Boston's top creative agencies. Agency teams compete for cash prizes and bragging rights, and the startups receive an entire brand makeover.
How it works.
Eligible startups submit a short pitch video, explaining what they do and why they could use some branding help.
Submitted entries will be posted to the site on June 27th, and the public will start voting! On July 28th, the 25 startups with the most votes will be reviewed by the agencies, who will then pick which one they want to re-brand.
The agencies will be matched with one of their preferred startups, and will then have 72 hours to create a personalized brand campaign from scratch.
The agencies will present their final brand campaign to a panel of tech innovators, venture capitalists, and marketers , live on stage at the Revere Hotel on August 18th.
Enter a short pitch video to be posted online. We strongly recommend keeping your videos to around 60 seconds.
Entries will still be accepted, but videos will be posted to our site as they come in. And the public can begin voting!
New startup entries will no longer be accepted. The remaining 3 weeks will be for voting only.
At the end of the voting period, the 25 startups with the most votes will be eligible to be considered for a re-brand, as chosen by the agencies.
Live Pitch Event
The 12 creative teams will pitch their re-brands to a live audience and panel of expert judges. The winning teams will win cash prizes and bragging rights, and the startups get the rights to all the new branding.
